20 ounces cold water
2-inch piece of fresh ginger, sliced
½ medium organic lemon, sliced
1 tablespoon honey (to taste)
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Add water, ginger, and lemon to a pot. Bring to a boil, then lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Remove from heat, stir in honey, cayenne pepper, and turmeric.
